Praised by Opera News and ArtsATL as a "standout", young American mezzo Gina Perregrino is already garnering attention on stages around the country.​

 

Gina is the 2020 and 2021 Opera Foundation winner and has been heard with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Santa Fe Opera, Opera Philadelphia, Minnesota Opera, The Dallas Opera, The Atlanta Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Lyric Opera of Guatemala, Central City Opera, and OperaDelaware.

Gina has also been heard as a soloist with the Cincinnati May Festival, the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, the Phoenix Symphony, and the Oregon Symphony. She was a featured recitalist twice with the New York Festival of Song and the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts.

Gina currently lives in between the U.S. and Europe, and was an ensemble member with the Deutsche Oper Berlin in Germany for the 2021-2022 season.

Opera goes Bollywood

Gina and her voice were featured in the motion picture Bawaaldirected by award winning Bollywood film director Nitesh Tiwari. Filmed in Berlin, Germany, it has an expected release for April 2023.
